From the latest study, revealed that the father could enhance his ability as a parent, and remove labels them as 'assistant parent' in a way to spend more time with his children without their mother's presence.
The study also found that the family in question will get many benefits if the father and the children spent more time together.
"The children need fathers in their side to organize most of their lives," said Margot Prior, researchers from the University of Melbourne, as quoted by the Sydney Morning Herald, February 15, 2011. "In fact, our habit is to deliver all of that in the mother," he said.
To do research, involving 110 researchers in Melbourne families who have children aged between 3 to 12 years.
Apparently, fathers who spend significant time with her children mentioned that they felt that the welfare of their children increases. In father's side, they also increase a sense of need and increase their position of 'assistant parents' parenting, such as the position of the mother.
"Talk sole care is to talk about interaction," said Prior. "This is an idea of how the father is responsible for making decisions on more opportunities," he said.
Previously, according to a survey conducted by the Financial Services Council revealed that as many as 71 percent of fathers in Australia spends less than four hours per day with special children to perform their duties as parents.
